Why is my bird licking my face?
I have him on my shoulder and he is preening my hair. I turned my head to talk to him and he starts licking my face. Not even nipping just like rubbing his tongue on it. Why??!
He’s tasting you to see what you’re going to taste like when he takes a big, huge bite out of you.
Chances are good that it is mating behavior.
