How to keep dogs from barking madly?

HELP I'm going crazy! My wife has taken a few Pomeranians. Do not get me wrong, I love these bugs …. just like children. However, their barking is driving me absolutely crazy lately. They have free run of a large yard, a doggie door come and go as they please, and walk faithfully every day. When I take a walk, they are great! No noise, obedient, intelligent, etc. The problem is that they are deafening when someone comes to the door, are out of itself, the wind blows, etc. I tried to fairground ultrasonic remote control collars and shock collars automatically. They all work for a degree, but with this race being so small, the neck is not designed for them. My wife has used to sleep downstairs with the dogs to let me have a good night's sleep without interruption to bark. I appreciate your comments in advance! Newt

You have a dog breed that, unfortunately, do not bark much. They can not bully the other dogs for their size but they do so with his barking. Personally, if I were you I get a good coach in his home to help you and his wife have things under control. If it is to the point where you and your wife must separate sleeping together, then it is time to do something! Good luck!
