How do I clean my aquarium fish Jewelry / decor? Bleach is okay?

I have a 10 gallon aquarium and my decorations are very dirty. The color has faded to a dirty brown. I researched and found I could use a bucket of water and add 1 / 2 cup of bleach in the computer and enjoy my ornaments. Then you can remove and wash in hot water for about 60 seconds and then should be safe to put in the aquarium. *** I wonder if these measures are safe and whether the use of bleach water is safe. PLEASE HELP!

I do not use chlorine. Dirt "probably contains algae and living matter that is healthy for a tank. To then take and use clean water only and wipe with a clean sponge that has not been used for anything else (do not use all those in contact with soap or articles cleaning). If you need something a bit abrasive and the use of Epsom or aquarium salt (not table salt!). No need to launder them all.
