Tape on our new leather sofa!?
My son comes to scotch (tape) on our brand new leather sofa. Pele everything off, but he marks everywhere. It's terrible. The leather band was eliminated, leaving white spots. Is there a way to fix this?
The leather on the couch not necessarily bad. Some finishes top skin these days does not come out quite easily, especially in two two-tone leather – is just the way they are. The band has eliminated the line in the top and replacing it should, but it is something they can attack you. Beware of DIY kits sold with great promises they will not work and may make it worse than it is now. If you are in the UK, you can send photos to LTT, which will assess the problem and let you know what the next step. They as technicians in the U.S. now may help you if you are there.
